Milli Educational & Welfare Society is Government registered organization was started in 2000. MEWS was established to provide primary education to the children of Mahiyarpur village, Kochadhaman block District Kishanganj, since then the organization has grown both in scope & geographical coverage.

Today we have reached out to million of people. MEWS is committed to the cause of promoting quality education and Vocational Tranining among the educationally and economically backward mass of the society the education ratio of Kishanganj district is the lowest in Bihar and vocational education is almost nil.

Milli Educational & Welfare Society is an Oasis like appearance an abysmally neglected Kishanganj district of Bihar, Situated in North Eastern part of Bihar. It shares National & International Boarders, Darjeeling District of West Bengal in the East. Nepal in the Northern side and Bangladesh boarder is too close; it is basically a corridor between North Eastern states and rest part of our country.

The Population of the district is about 23 Lac, where Minorities & Dalit, OBC, SC & ST population is about 98%, where Surjapuri Beradari (OBC) dominates about 85% of this total population of this District.
